SMP can effectively conceal Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) hair transplant scars by blending the scarred area with surrounding hair. SMP works on almost any type of scar, whether surgical or injury-related. The scar does need to be at least 6 months old before having scalp micropigmentation, and the scar must be pale in colour and flush to the skin.
