The British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) Regional Meeting 2026, where I had the opportunity to present and openly discuss a complex and challenging trichology case. Always such a valuable experience, where I learn so much. The meeting was held at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC.

My client first came to see me for a Trichology appointment in November 2024, after noticing sudden and severe hair shedding. We discussed her complex medical history — including Aplastic Anaemia and a bone marrow transplant in 2023. Despite stable blood results and no nutritional deficiencies, her shedding continued. Unfortunately, her GP and Oncologist were unable to offer support or insight into her sudden hair loss. Because of this, she sought my advice as a Trichologist.

What an honour to have won 3rd place in the SMP Density category at this year’s Meeting of Minds Scalp Micropigmentation Conference! Meeting of Minds is the world’s largest SMP conference, with attendees travelling from 27 countries. This year, it was held in Madrid. Over 100 artists entered the SMP Density category, so winning Bronze was an exciting and monumental milestone in my career!
